Urgent: At least 2 injured in Mogadishu car explosion

At least two people were injured in a car explosion at a hotel in the Somali capital, Mogadishu on Wednesday, local police said.

The police said a car exploded when the security officers tried to stop it during a routine check around Maka Al-mukarama hotel in Hodan district, adding the wounded have been sent to a local hospital.

The police have cordoned off the area and an investigation is under way. Endi
