Former Xinjiang senior lawmaker under graft probe

Li Zhi, a senior lawmaker of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is under investigation for suspected disciplinary and legal violations, the central anti-graft authority said Wednesday.

Li is former deputy head of the standing committee of the People's Congress of Xinjiang.

The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China released the news on its official website. Endi
