Former Xinjiang senior lawmaker under graft probe

Li Zhi, a senior lawmaker of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is under investigation for suspected disciplinary and legal violations, the central anti-graft authority said Wednesday.

Li is former deputy head of the standing committee of the People's Congress of Xinjiang.
