Argentina-Brazil Davis Cup series to be defined next Monday

Xinhua, March 9, 2015 Adjust font size:

The first round of Davis Cup's World Group series between Argentina and Brazil will be defined next Monday, when the match between Federico Delboni and Thomaz Bellucci resume.

The Sunday match between Delboni and Bellucci, with a score of 6-3, was suspended for lack of solar light.

The decision to suspend the match was taken by the organizers because the previous match between Argentine Leonardo Mayer and Brazilian Joao Souza lasted six hours and 42 minutes.

Delboni and Bellucci will continue playing next Monday at 11 a.m. local time (2 p.m. GMT).

The series is played at Tecnopolis clay court in Villa Martinelli, located in the northern region of Greater Buenos Aires.

The winning team will play quarterfinal against Serbia, who defeated Croatia 5-0 in Kraljevo. Endi
