Lock-up shares worth 207.42 bln yuan become tradable

Lock-up shares worth 207.42 billion yuan (33.83 billion U.S. dollars) will become eligible for trade on China's stock markets in the coming week.
A total of 14.12 billion shares from 24 companies will be tradable on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges from March 9 to 13.
Under China's market rules, major shareholders of non-tradable stocks are subject to one or two years of lock-up before they are permitted to trade the shares.
China Communication Construction Company will see non-tradable shares worth 134.23 billion yuan become tradable on March 11, the largest amount of such shares to hit the stock market in the period.
Chinese stocks closed lower last Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.22 percent to finish at 3,241.19 points. Endi
