Myanmar signs Serbian Avramovic to coach national soccer team

Myanmar Football Federation has signed Serbian Rodojko Avramovic as head coach of its national team, according to the federation Friday.

Avramovic, who signed the one and a half year-term contract here on Thursday, expressed his pledge to cooperate with football clubs of Myanmar National League to raise Myanmar sports standard.

Myanmar national team will take part in the final stage of the AFC Challenge Cup in 2015 while Myanmar youth teams will participate in the AFC U-22 and ASEAN Championship (Suzuki Cup), the federation said.

Preparations are being made for Myanmar U19 team to secure the best result in the AFC U19 Championships to be hosted in the country. Enditem
