Myanmar boxers to take joint training in China

Xinhua, March 5, 2015 Adjust font size:

Myanmar national boxers will take a two-month joint training in China starting this month under the sports exchange program between the two countries, according to Myanmar Boxing Federation Thursday.

As a preparedness for the 28th SEA Games, the federation has selected 20 Myanmar boxers for the joint training in China.

Meanwhile, the 16-member national boxers took nine-day joint training in Thailand in February and hired a Thai coach for the national team.

In 2013, Myanmar boxing team won two gold, one silver and one bronze medals at the 27th SEA Games. Endi
