Education cooperation among priorities in Vietnam-Denmark relations: official

Cooperation in the field of education is among the important priorities in bilateral relations between Vietnam and Denmark, said Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam on Wednesday.
Speaking at a meeting with Christine Antorini, Danish Minister of Education, in Vietnam's capital Hanoi, the Vietnamese official urged for the establishment of a joint working group on education between the two countries, reported the website of Vietnamese government.
Dam hoped that Denmark would provide additional scholarships for Vietnamese students and facilitate bilateral coordination between educational institutions, especially those in science, technology, marine-based economy, oil and gas, and renewable energy.
Antorini emphasized that education cooperation has been stated among key cooperation areas in the Comprehensive Partnership Agreement between Denmark and Vietnam, adding cooperation in the field will be further strengthened in the future.
The presence of representatives from 20 education institutions of Denmark during the visit is a proof for the commitment, said the Danish official.
During the three-day tour of the Danish delegation in Vietnam starting from Wednesday, the two sides will host seminars on education in Hanoi and southern Ho Chi Minh City. Endi
