Chinese stocks close lower Tuesday

Chinese stocks closed lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 2.20 percent to finish at 3,263.05 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index lost 3.01 percent to close at 11,526.22 points.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, shed 1.27 percent to end at 1,961.74 points. Endi
