China stocks open higher Monday

Chinese stocks opened higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.68 percent, or 22.42 points, to open at 3,332.72.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 11,869.96, up 0.95 percent, or 112.27 points.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 0.83 percent or 16.06 points higher at 1,944.11 points. Endi
