FC Porto beats Sporting 3-0 in Portuguese league thanks to Tello hat-trick

Tello scored a hat-trick to help FC Porto beat Sporting 3-0 on Sunday night in the 23rd round of the Portuguese league, at the Dragon Stadium in northern Portuguese city Porto.

Spanish forward Cristian Tello opened the scoring in the 31st minute with a right-footed effort following a back-heel by Colombian forward Jackson Martinez.

He scored again in the 58th minute with another right-footed effort and assistance by Martinez, and he closed the scoring in the 82nd following a pass by Mexican midfielder Hector Herrera.

FC Porto dominated the entire match, especially in the second-half, and remains second in the Portuguese league with 55 points, four behind leader Benfica.
