Third man arrested for complication in Copenhagen attacks

Xinhua, February 27, 2015 Adjust font size:

Danish police arrested another young man Friday for complication in the twin shootings that occurred two weeks ago in Copenhagen.

The suspect, whose name will not be made public, is expected to be presented for a preliminary closed-door hearing Saturday, police said in a press release.

Police had arrested and charged two men for having assisted the alleged perpetrator in the Copenhagen attacks in mid-February.

The two men, aged 19 and 22, have denied the charges but their detention have been extended for another month, police said.

The shootings in front of a cultural center on Feb. 14 and at a synagogue on Feb. 15 left two people dead. The gunman was shot dead by police later in the day. Endi
