At least 38 extremists were killed and 27 others were injured in overnight raids launched by the Egyptian Armed Forces on extremists' hideouts in Rafah and Sheikh Zuweid cities of North Sinai province, a security source told Xinhua.
The source pointed out that the raids started late Tuesday and continued until Wednesday early morning, where the raids destroyed four houses, four vehicles and ten motorbikes.(Egypt-Killing)

TEHRAN -- The outcome of a potential nuclear deal between Iran and world powers over Tehran's nuclear issue should be removal of "oppressive and illegal sanctions" against the country, Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said Wednesday.
"The other party in (ongoing) negotiations should know that the talks should end and the negotiations should result in the removal of all the oppressive and illegal sanctions against the country," Rouhani told a crowd in the religious city of Qom south of capital Tehran. (Iran-Nuclear Deal)

RAMALLAH -- Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry discussed on Wednesday night the Israeli withholding of the Palestinian tax revenue dues, a senior official said.
The Palestinian state-run news agency Wafa quoted Nabil Abu Rdeineh, an aide to Abbas, as saying that Abbas and Kerry discussed in a telephone conversation several issues related to the recent developments in the region. (Palestine-Israel)
