China's railway police detain 123 scalpers during holiday

Chinese police apprehended 123 railway ticket scalpers and 291 fugitives in a security campaign during the Chinese lunar New Year holiday.

Police also confiscated a number of products prohibited on trains including more than 200,000 firecrackers and over 5,000 knives, the railway police revealed Wednesday.

About 45 million trips were made by rail during the holiday. Endi
