Vietnam's top female ranks 46th in world badminton

Vietnam's top female badminton player Vu Thi Trang was placed No.46 in the latest rankings of the Badminton World Federation (BWF), local Vietnam News daily reported Tuesday.

With 26,890 points, Trang climbed two ranks to No. 46 from her position last month, while her country-fellow Le Thu Huyen went up three rankings to No. 206.

On the men's side, best Vietnamese player, Nguyen Tien Minh, remained at the 23rd position with 40.340 points, while his teammate, Pham Cao Cuong, went up to rank No. 220.

In the junior rankings, Vo Thien Bao was at No. 89 among the male players, becoming the only one from Vietnam to make it to the top 100.

Among the women, Nguyen Thuy Linh stood at the 41st position. Enditem
