Dollar trades in upper 118 yen range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 118 yen range early Tuesday in Tokyo deals, slightly higher from its levels overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 118.91-92 yen compared with 118.75-85 yen in New York and 119.20-23 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday.

The euro fetched 1.1332-1335 dollars and 134.76-78 yen against 1.1330-1340 dollars and 134.61-71 yen in New York and 1.1356-1357 dollars and 135.38-42 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon. Endi
