Indian stocks close lower

The S&P BSE Sensex extended its fall for the second straight session on Monday led by losses in oil & gas, metals and banks.

The 30-share index closed at 28,975.11, 256.30 points or 0.88 percent down from previous close of 29,231.41 points.

According to analysts, the market is likely to remain volatile ahead of February series expiry and Union Budget this week. Endi
