Mexico wins bronze medal in FINA Diving Grand Prix

Mexico won one bronze medal on Sunday in the International Swimming Federation (FINA) Diving Grand Prix meeting held this weekend in Rostock, Germany.

Mexican pair Alejandra Estrella and Karla Rivas won the bronze medal in the women's 10m platform synchro with 294.30 points after five rounds.

Canadians Meaghan Benfeito and Roseline Filion won the gold medal with 302.55 points, followed by Chinese Lin Jing and Suo Miya with 301.56 points.

The Mexican team won three medals, including a gold medal by Jahir Ocampo in the men's 3m springboard, a bronze medal in the men's 10m platform synchro by Jonathan Ruvalcaba and Diego Balleza, plus a bronze medal won by Estrella and Rivas.

The next FINA Diving Grand Prix meeting will be held in Mexico' s central city of Leon, on April 2 to 5. Endite
