Lydia Ko claims Australian Open crown

New Zealand's Lydia Ko fired a 2-under 71 in the final round for a two-stroke victory in the Women's Australian Open on Sunday.

Ko had a 72-hole total of 9-under 283 at Royal Melbourne, beating South Korea's Amy Yang who had a final round 72.

Ariya Jutanugarn of Thailand posted a 76 for 288 to finish third.

Chinese star Feng Shanshan had a 73 in the final round for 295, 12 strokes behind Ko. Endi
