Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos on Saturday congratulated young cyclist Fernando Gaviria, the winner in omnium at the world track cycling championships in France.

"From here, we send him a big congratulations. We are in the winning streak of sports. Another world championship. We're in the big leagues," Manuel Santos said from the Regional Ministers Council held in Dosquebradas township (west).

Gaviria, 20, won the world championship by defeating Italian Elia Viviani and Australian Glenn O'Shea. Endi
