Sweden's youngest royal turns one

Sweden's Princess Leonore celebrated her first birthday on Friday.

Princess Madeleine and her husband Christopher O'Neill had their first child in New York on Feb. 20, 2014. At her birth, Princess Leonore weighed 3.150 kg and was 50 cm tall.

She was crowned Duchess of Gotland, the Baltic island off Sweden's east coast. "The birthday was celebrated with a small circle of close family members," a spokeswoman for the Royal Court told Swedish media.

Princess Madeleine and Christopher O'Neill moved back to Stockholm from New York in the fall. They are expecting their second child this summer. Endit
