French stock market slightly down on Monday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 experienced a slight decrease of 0.16 percent to close at 4,751.95 points on Monday, down 7.41 points.

The CAC 40 closed lower Monday with 23 of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.

Monday's top three gainers were Bouygue, up 3.77 percent, ArcelorMittal, up 2.82 percent, and Technip, up 2.65 percent.

The three companies which lost most on Monday were AXA, down 1.46 percent, Legrand, down 1.42 percent, and Danone, down 1.24 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained an advance of 0.70 percent to close at 4,759.36 points, up 33.16 points. Endit
