Hulk extends Zenit contract to 2019

Xinhua, February 17, 2015 Adjust font size:

Brazilian striker Hulk on Monday confirmed his intention to stay with Russian FC Zenit St. Petersburg by resigning with the club until the end of the 2018-19 season.

Hulk, who joined Zenit in 2012, has become a fixture in Zenit's starting eleven over the past three seasons and is now arguably the most recognizable celebrity living in Russia's northern capital.

According to the official site of Zenit, the new contract is a two-year extension of Hulk's original five-year Zenit deal.

The star striker and Brazilian international has scored 44 goals in 92 appearances for the club. Endite
