Eurozone GDP up 0.3 pct in Q4

Eurozone's seasonally adjusted gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.3 percent in the fourth quarter of 2014 from the previous quarter, according to flash estimates published Friday by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Unionon.

According to Eurostat, GDP grew by 0.2 percent in the euro area in the third quarter of 2014.

Compared with the same period in 2013, seasonally adjusted GDP in the eurozone grew by 0.9 percent from October to December 2014.

In 2014, GDP growth in the eurozone and the 28-nation European Union grew by 0.9 percent and 1.4 percent, respectively. Enditem
