Oil prices slipped on Tuesday as the International Energy Agency (IEA) predicted that the oil prices would rebound partially in the next five years.

In its medium-term oil market report, the IEA said the oil prices would recover from the recent low levels of 50 to 55 dollars a barrel, but "the market does not seem to be expecting prices to revisit earlier highs any time soon." (World-Oil-Prices)

COPENHAGEN -- Denmark registered nearly 65,000 immigrants in 2014, a record high in a single year, figures from Statistics Denmark showed on Tuesday.

The country has witnessed an influx of 64,874 immigrants within the year, representing a 15 percent increase from 2013, according to the statistical agency. (Denmark-Immigrants)

VIENNA -- Four suspected fences for the internationally-active Pink Panther jewel thief gang were arrested in a Vienna hotel last week, authorities revealed to the media Tuesday.

The four men aged between 35 and 40 had over half a million U.S. dollars worth of jewellery in their possession along with almost 65,000 dollars in cash, the Federal Criminal Police Office said at a press conference in Vienna. (Pink Panther-Jewel-Theft)

MOGADISHU -- More than 20 people were killed and 35 others injured in a clash between government troops and a moderate Islamist group in central Somalia, medical sources confirmed Tuesday.

The fighting happened when government forces exchanged fire with the Islamist group AhluSunnah WalJamaah in Guricel town, 400 km north of the capital Mogadishu. (Somali-Conflict)

ADEN -- A U.S. drone strike bombed a gathering of al-Qaida gunmen in Yemen's southeastern province of Hadramout on Tuesday, leaving five terrorists killed, a military official told Xinhua.

"The U.S. drone fired three missiles on a gathering of al-Qaida operatives in the Sert Valley in Hadramout province, killing five commanders of the terrorist group," the local military official said on condition of anonymity. (Yemen-U.S.-Drone)

MIGORI, Kenya -- A suspected cholera outbreak in Western Kenya has left at least seven people dead and 80 in critical condition, a medical official confirmed Tuesday.
