LME base metals close lower on Tuesday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed lower on Tuesday.

The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 92 U.S. dollars, or 1.62 percent, to 5,588 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 32.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.73 percent, to 1,844 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price lost 21 U.S. dollars, or 1.13 percent, to 1,842 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 42 U.S. dollars, or 1.94 percent, to 2,127 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 412.5 U.S. dollars, or 2.72 percent, to 14,762.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price lost 137.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.76 percent, to 18,037.5 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
