French stock market index up 0.96 pct on Tuesday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 gained an advance of 0.96 percent to close at 4,695.65 points on Tuesday, up 44.57 points.

At the end of the business day, the CAC 40 closed higher with 35 of the 40 selected companies gaining advance.

Tuesday's top three gainers were LVMH, up 3.68 percent, Valeo, up 3.34 percent, and Airbus Group, up 3.11 percent.

The three companies which lost most on Tuesday were Michelin, down 2.56 percent, ArcelorMittal, down 1.53 percent, and Total, down 1.25 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 experienced a decrease of 0.85 percent to close at 4,651.08 points, down 89.95 points. Endit
