Botswana's champions Township Rollers have announced a squad to compete in the 2015/16 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League.

The team on Monday released a 30-man squad for the Champions league that is made up of a blend of young and experienced players. Among those in the team are new signings striker Jerome Ramatlhakwana and defender Tshepo Motlhabankwe who represented Botswana at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Gabon/ Equatorial Guinea.

The two bring in some massive experience having played in the Champions League before.

Among notable players in the squad is skipper Sekhana Koko who is also a Botswana international and youngster Segolame Boy who has been touted for a move abroad following his impressive performances in his maiden season in the league.

Rollers, who had not started the year well winning only one of their last four league games would like to put the rough patch behind them when they face on form Kaizer Chiefs.

Chiefs has also named a strong team of full international for the competition. Among them is former national team captain Itumeleng Khune and several other national team players who just played at the 2015 AFCON. Rollers will host Chiefs for the return leg in a fortnight. Endite
