Later equalizer gives Saint-Etienne 3-3 draw with Lens

A late goal from Turkey striker Mevlut Erding earned fourth-placed Saint-Etienne a 3-3 draw against struggling Lens in the French Ligue 1 on Friday.

Midfielder Landry N'Guemo gave Saint-Etienne the lead early on and the home side appeared to be coasting when winger Yohan Mollo made it 2-0 in the 58th minute.

Lens, in 19th place, hit back as forward Yoann Touzghar scored twice and strike partner Pablo Chavarria made it 3-2 to the visitors after 77 minutes.

Erding struck in the 83rd with his first goal since Aug. 17.

Monaco can move into fourth place if they win at Guingamp on Sunday. Endi
