Dollar trades in mid-117 yen zone in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the mid-117 yen zone early Friday in Tokyo deals, almost unchanged from its overnight levels in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 117.54-55 yen compared with 117.47-57 yen in New York and 117.31-33 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro fetched 1.1470-1470 dollars and 134.82-84 yen against 1.1474-1484 dollars and 134.75-85 yen in New York and 1.1383-1384 dollars and 133.54-58 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Endi
