Italy's Viviani wins second leg of Dubai Tour

Italian rider Elia Viviani from the Team Sky won on Friday the second stage of the 2015 Dubai Tour which finished after a 187 kilometers long track on the man-made island Palm Jumeirah.

British cyclist Mark Cavendish from the team Etixx - Quick Step was second and successfully defended his leader's jersey which he snatched on Wednesday when he won the first stage of the four-day race in the Gulf Arab emirate.

Viviani's countryman Andrea Guardini from the Kazakh team Astana Pro was third.

The Dubai Tour continues on Friday, February 6, with the hilly 205 kilometers long stage three. Endite
