Urgent: Conflict in eastern Ukraine can be resolved only after ceasefire, pullback of weapons -- Kerry

The Ukraine conflict can only be stopped when there is a ceasefire and weapons are withdrawn, while all the parties should sit down together at the negotiation table, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said Thursday.

This is the only way for Russia to avoid international isolation, Interfax news agency quoted a joint statement issued after Kerry's meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Kiev. Endi
