Xinhua, February 5, 2015 Adjust font size:

Sports exhibition ISPO Munich 2015 kicked off Thursday in the Munich international exhibition center, attracting again thousands of exhibitors from all over the world.

About 2,580 international exhibitors and over 81,000 visitors from more than 109 countries and regions are expected to join the trade show on the 180,000-square-meter ground, according to the organizer.

Among them are about 1,000 Chinese visitors, including 350 Chinese companies, said Zhou Shu, chief organizer of Beijing-based Jingmu international exhibition company.

She considered ISPO Munich of special meaning for Chinese companies on the international level, although they have presented their sport products successfully at ISPO Beijing as well as ISPO Shanghai.

ISPO Munich is a B2B platform and an industry meeting reserved for sports business professionals. It aims to provide customers with an overview of the entire range of sporting goods, athletic footwear and fashions, and comprehensive added value promoting successful market positioning.

"Over the past few years, ISPO has changed. The concept of moving away from selling square meters to be a 365-day partner for the industry is of huge significance," said Mark Held, general secretary of the European Outdoor Group. Endit
