Tokyo stocks soars in morning on crude price rally

Tokyo stocks rose 2.17 percent in the morning session of Wednesday, as market sentiment was lifted by a rally in crude oil prices.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average jumped 376.20 points, from Tuesday to 17,712.05.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange gained 28.90 points, or 2.08 percent, to 1, 421.29.

All 32 industry sectors gained, except airlines. Endi
