Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko is planning to visit Georgia and meet with his Georgian counterpart in April, Belarusian Agriculture and Food Minister Leonid Zayats said Monday.

"The meeting of the presidents of the two countries in Georgia will be in April," Zayats said at a meeting of the Belarusian- Georgian inter-governmental commission on economic cooperation in Minsk.

The minister invited the Georgian delegation to discuss steps to intensify bilateral economic cooperation because its current level does not meet the two countries' potential. Endite
