Indian PM condemns killing of Japanese nationals by ISIS

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday strongly condemned the "gruesome" and "barbaric" killing of two Japanese nationals by ISIS, while calling for firmer action against the terrorist group by international community.

Modi wrote a letter to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe expressing India's solidarity in the wake of the killings, according to the Press Trust of India.

He said the terrorist act is a stark reminder of the emergence of terrorism as a major global challenge and pressed the need for more resolute action to deal with it. Endi
