Germany's benchmark DAX decreases slightly on Friday

The benchmark DAX index at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on Friday slipped by 0.41 percent and closed at 10,694.32 points.

The chemical group LANXESS AG went up by 2.14 percent, leading the risers' list. ThyssenKrupp AG and Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA followed with an increase by 2.06 percent and 0.48 percent. BMW AG St and BASF SE also climbed up by 0.44 percent and 0.43 percent respectively.

Volkswagen AG Vz fell the most at 2.87 percent. The utilities supplier E.ON SE slipped by 1.44 percent. Deutsche Telekom AG, Munchener Ruck AGand Allianz SE went down by 1.32 percent, 1.28 percent and 1.21 percent respectively.

Total turnover of the index stood at 4.73 billion euros (6.20 billion U.S. dollars). Endit
