Indian stocks open higher

Indian stocks opened higher on Friday, tracking positive trend seen in other Asian markets.

The benchmark BSE Sensex opened at 29,801.60, 119.83 points or 0.04 percent up from last closing of 29,681.17 points.

So far in 2015, the Sensex has gained 7.9 percent, while foreign institutional investors have bought 1.17 billion U.S. dollars from local equity markets and 2.90 billion U.S. dollars from the debt market. Endi
