Dollar trades in lower 118 yen range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the lower 118 yen range early Friday morning in Tokyo deals, almost unchanged from its overnight levels in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 118.27-28 yen compared with 118.23-33 yen in New York and 117.69-72 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro fetched 1.1337-1337 dollars and 134.06-09 yen against 1.1315-1325 dollars and 133.90-134.00 yen in New York and 1.1288- 1290 dollars and 132.86-90 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Endi
