Indian stocks open flat

Indian stocks opened flat on Wednesday following muted trend seen in other Asian markets.

The benchmark BSE Sensex opened at 29,565.72, only 5.32 points lower from last closing of 29,571.04 points.

So far in 2015, the Sensex has gained 6.61 percent, while foreign institutional investors have bought 889.7 million U.S. dollars from local equity markets and 2.46 billion U.S. dollars from the debt market. Endi
