Croatian president-elect to be inaugurated in mid-Feb.

Croatian President-elect Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic will be inaugurated on Feb. 15, a head of a transitional team for the new president confirmed on Tuesday.

Jadranka Juresko Kero, the head of the transitional team, said several top foreign officials had confirmed their attendance. She refused to release the names, adding the final list will be known by Feb 5.

The inauguration ceremony will be held in St. Mark's Square in downtown Zagreb as the tradition. The new president will be sworn in in front of Constitutional Court judges.

The costs of the inauguration, which is around 600,000 kunas (100,000 U.S.dollars), will be covered from budget of Presidential Office for this year, according to Kero. Enditem
