Striker Didier Ya Konan rejoined Hannover after six moths at Al-Ittihad, the Bundesliga club announced on Tuesday.

After six moths at Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad, Didier Ya Konan returned to his former club Hannover until the end of the season. The 30-year-old striker penned a contract until June 2015 with an option for another year with the Lower Saxony side.

"I'm coming home, it is a great feeling. It makes me proud to wear Hannover's outfit and to play for these supporters. I'm going to work hard on my comeback," Ya Konan said.

Ya Konan is the crowd pleaser at Hannover. He joined the Bundesliga club in 2009 to score 39 goals in 125 appearances overall.

"He has exceptional skills as a striker. We will work with him on his fitness to add an alternative to our offense. With him we increase the quality of our squad," Hannover coach Tayfun Korkut said.

Hannover occupy currently the 8th place in the Bundesliga standings. They face Schalke for their opening game of the second half of the campaign. Endite
