Indian stocks close at record high

Indian stocks market benchmark BSE Sensex Tuesday jumped 292.20 points to end at new closing high of 29,571.04 on optimism over Indo-U.S. nuclear deal amid sustained foreign fund inflows.

The BSE Sensex resumed higher at 29,451.65 and then touched all- time high of 29,618.59, before settling at fresh closing peak of 29,571.04.

So far in 2015, the Sensex has gained 6.61 percent, while foreign institutional investors have bought 889.7 million U.S. dollars from local equity markets and 2.46 billion U.S. dollars from the debt market. Endi
