Dollar trades in mid-118 yen range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the mid- 118 yen range early Tuesday in Tokyo deals, little changed from its levels overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 118.50-51 yen compared with 118.41-51 yen in New York and 118.16-19 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday.

The euro fetched 1.1249-1251 dollars and 133.31-32 yen against 1.1232-1242 dollars and 133.09-19 yen in New York and 1.1237-1239 dollars and 132.79-83 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon. Endi
