Whiteside makes triple double as Heat hold off Bulls

Heat center Hassan Whiteside had a triple-double with a career high 12 blocks to go with 14 points and 13 rebounds as the Miami Heat beat the Chicago Bulls 96-84 on Sunday.

"It's a blessing," said Whiteside. Dwyane Wade scored 26 points and Chris Bosh finished with 20. Luol Deng scored 15 and Mario Chalmers had 15 points.

Pau Gasol had 13 points and 17 rebounds for Chicago. Derrick Rose scored 19 but missed all six 3-pointers.Aaron Brooks added 17.
