Urgent: Video shows IS-held Japanese hostage killed -- report

TOKYO, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) -- A video released late Saturday on YouTube said that the IS -held Japanese hostage Haruna Yukawa was killed, according to local report.

In the video, another Japanese hostage Kenji Goto conveyed the message that Yukawa was killed.

Japan demands immediate safe release of Goto, according to Kyodo News.

The Japanese government said it was now verifying the report. Endit
