Lakers' Bryant could miss rest of season

Xinhua, January 24, 2015 Adjust font size:

Los Angeles Lakers star guard Kobe Bryant could miss the rest of the season if he decided to receive a surgery for a torn rotator cuff.

Bryant suffered the right shoulder injury during Wednesday's game in New Orleans and was diagnosed of a torn rotator cuff on Friday.

A possible surgery is one option for the 36-year-old.

Bryant will consider options over the weekend before Monday's examination, with a decision expected at that time.

Voted a Western Conference NBA All-Star starter Thursday night for the 17th consecutive year, Bryant has played 35 games this season and missed eight of the last 16 to rest his banged up body. Endi
