Davey named Olympic Games bid CEO

Richard Davey was named as chief executive officer of Boston's 2024 Olympic bid organizing group on Friday, taking over for Don O'Connell, who spearheaded the city's campaign to win US nod.

Davey was head of Boston's mass transit system before becoming a state transportation secretary.

Boston 2024 chairman John Fish hailed Davey "the perfect fit" for the job. Endi
