Indian police fired warning shots and tear smoke shells Friday to disperse irate youth in Indian-controlled Kashmir protesting publication of cartoons of Islam's prophet in French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo, witnesses and police said.

JAKARTA -- Indonesia conveyed its deepest condolence on the death Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah Bin Abdul Azziz Al Saud, a statement released by Indonesia's Foreign Affairs Ministry said on Friday.
King Abdullah died at 90 in Riyadh after suffering from lung infections. He has ruled the largest oil exporter country since 2005.(Indonesia-King Abdullah)

HANOI -- Vietnam wishes to further promote ties with the United States in the fight against money laundering offenses, high-tech crimes and to establish an information sharing mechanism to combat crimes, said a Vietnamese official on Friday.

KATHMANDU -- Nepal's Prime Minister Sushil Koirala on Friday expressed the regrets for failing to promulgate a new constitution within the deadline.
