Slovak government approves building of Bratislava bypass

Xinhua, January 21, 2015 Adjust font size:

The construction of a bypass around Bratislava via a public-private partnership project has been given the green light by the Slovak government on Wednesday.

This means that Transport, Construction and Regional Development Minister Jan Pociatek is now able to launch a tender for a private company that would build and then operate and maintain the road.

According to Pociatek, it will take approximately a year to conclude the tender, with the beginning of the construction project expected to take place at the end of 2015 or at the beginning of 2016. The construction of the bypass is estimated to consume four years. Endit
