Xinhua, January 21, 2015 Adjust font size:

Myanmar national athletes are gearing up to compete in 28th Southeast Asian Games to be held in Singapore from June 5-20, sports circle said Wednesday.

More than 300 Myanmar athletes, of which the archery team topped the most with about 100 athletes, are to participate in the SEA Games.

A 59-member track and field team is currently under intensive training.

Other sports, except U-23 men football squad and Futsal team, have been camping for the SEA Games since March 2014.

Despite unfamiliar with some sports events in the SEA Games, Myanmar athletes are trying their best for grabbing gold medals as much as possible.

Myanmar grabbed 84 gold, 62 silver, and 85 bronze medals in the previous SEA Games hosted by the country in 2013. Endi
